NRI & international students — frequently asked questions
Can NRI and OCI students prepare for NEET and JEE from outside India?
Yes. NRI, OCI and foreign-national candidates may appear for NEET UG and JEE Main/Advanced under the categories notified by NTA each year. Prepkunj teaches the full Indian competitive-exam syllabus live online, and our counsellors take each family through the current year's eligibility rules, quota routes, document requirements and exam-centre options before enrollment.
Which countries does Prepkunj teach students in?
We teach Indian, NRI and OCI students in 15+ countries, including the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain, Singapore, Malaysia, the USA, Canada, the UK, Ireland, Germany, France, the Netherlands, Australia and New Zealand, along with 50+ city-level hubs. Every country page lists the exams, timings and local school context for that market.
How are class timings handled across timezones?
Our academic calendar follows Indian Standard Time because the exams do, but batch slots are chosen for the student's timezone. Gulf, European, American and Asia-Pacific students each get slots that sit outside local school hours, and each batch is published in both IST and local time before enrollment. Every class is also recorded and posted the same day.
Which exams and school boards are covered?
NEET UG, JEE Main, JEE Advanced, BITSAT, IISER IAT, the SAT for US undergraduate admissions, and CBSE and ICSE/IGCSE school programmes for Classes 8 to 12, plus Olympiad training for Classes 8 to 10.
Are the classes live or recorded?
All teaching is live and interactive, in batches capped at 20 students so faculty know each student's weak chapters by name. Recordings of every session are added to the student portal the same day and stay available for the full course duration, which is what makes school events, exam weeks and travel manageable.
How much does Prepkunj coaching cost for students abroad?
Group batch fees are quoted in Indian rupees and can be paid by international card or bank transfer — for example ₹1,14,300 all-inclusive for the two-year NEET programme (₹99,000 after discount + ₹15,300 GST) and ₹68,280 for the one-year programme (₹60,000 after discount + ₹8,280 GST); the 90-day crash course is ₹34,500. One-on-one premium mentoring is billed at USD 15 per hour, and the fee calculator gives an instant estimate before any call.
What study material do international students receive?
Digital chapter modules, NCERT-linked notes, formula and revision sheets, previous year question papers for NEET, JEE Main, JEE Advanced, BITSAT, IISER IAT and SAT with solutions, a graded test series with analytics, and self-study chapter tests. Everything is delivered online, so there is no shipping or customs delay anywhere in the world.
Is there a free demo class and counselling call?
Yes, and neither carries any obligation. The demo is taught by the faculty who would actually take the batch, so the decision rests on teaching quality rather than a brochure. We schedule both at a time that works in the student's local timezone.
Can a student continue their local school curriculum alongside Prepkunj?
That is the normal case for our international students. They attend local CBSE, IB, British or American curriculum school during the day and join Prepkunj in the evening or on weekends, with the weekly load planned around school assessments.
How do parents abroad track progress?
Parents receive periodic progress reports with attendance, test scores, chapter-wise accuracy and mentor comments, and can request a mentor call at any point in the course. The Know Your Level diagnostic and test analytics give an objective picture rather than a subjective one.
What happens if the family relocates or returns to India mid-course?
Nothing breaks. The programme is fully online, so the batch, mentor, recordings and portal move with the student — we only shift the batch slot if the new timezone requires it.
How do I find the page for my country and exam?
Use the Prepkunj Global directory, which lists every country and country+exam landing page with search and exam filters. Each page covers local school timings, curriculum context, batch slots, fees and the exam-specific preparation roadmap for that market.
