- What is BITSAT?
- BITSAT (Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test) is the private, institute-level computer-based entrance test for B.E., B.Pharm and M.Sc. admissions at BITS Pilani and its Goa and Hyderabad campuses. It is not part of JEE — BITS admits students only through BITSAT, and the test is usually offered in two sessions so you can attempt it twice in the same year and keep the better score.
- What is the BITSAT exam pattern?
- BITSAT is a 3-hour computer-based test with 130 questions: Physics (30), Chemistry (30), Mathematics or Biology for B.Pharm (40), English Proficiency (10) and Logical Reasoning (20). Marking is +3 for a correct answer and −1 for a wrong answer. English Proficiency and Logical Reasoning are unique to BITSAT and are the sections most NEET/JEE aspirants have never practised, which is why speed and accuracy matter more here than in any other engineering entrance test.
- Who is eligible to appear for BITSAT?
- You must have passed Class 12 (or be appearing in it) with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics — or Biology in place of Mathematics for B.Pharm — along with adequate proficiency in English, and meet the minimum aggregate and per-subject marks published by BITS for that admission year. Confirm the current cut-offs in the official BITS admission bulletin.
- Which BITSAT batch should I join for 2027 and 2028?
- Students appearing in BITSAT 2027 (currently in Class 12 or repeating) should join the 1 Year program or the 90-day Crash Course. Students appearing in BITSAT 2028 (entering Class 11) should join the 2 Year integrated program. DLP and the test series are available for both the 2027 and 2028 exam years.
- When do the BITSAT 2027 and 2028 batches start?
- Prepkunj runs rolling admissions with a new live BITSAT batch every month, so 2027 and 2028 aspirants can start without waiting for a session date. The BITSAT 2027 crash batch begins in January 2027. Every live batch is capped at 20 students.
- What does the BITSAT course cover?
- Full syllabus coverage for PCM plus Logical Reasoning and English proficiency — the two sections unique to BITSAT — with sectional speed drills and BITSAT-pattern computer-based mock exams.
- How much does the BITSAT course cost?
- The 2 Year BITSAT course is ₹1,20,000 less a ₹21,000 discount — ₹99,000 + applicable GST. The 1 Year BITSAT course is ₹75,000 less a ₹15,000 discount — ₹60,000 + applicable GST. GST applies to the discounted fee minus the books amount. DLP is ₹18,000 and the Test Series alone is ₹3,000.
- Do you offer a last-minute BITSAT bootcamp?
- Yes — the BITSAT Crash Course covers full revision in 90 days including a last-30-days speed-and-accuracy bootcamp.
