Overview
NEET-UG is the single national-level entrance examination for admission to MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, BUMS, BSMS, BVSc & AH and several allied medical undergraduate courses across India. It is a pen-and-paper (OMR) test conducted in a single shift on one day nationwide, in 13 languages.
National Testing Agency (NTA), on behalf of the Ministry of Education. Counselling is conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC, DGHS) for the 15% All India Quota and by individual state authorities for state quota seats.
To provide a uniform, merit-based admission route to every recognised undergraduate medical, dental, AYUSH and veterinary seat in India — including government, private, deemed and central universities, plus AIIMS and JIPMER.

Eligibility Criteria
Exam Pattern
180 questions to be answered out of 180 (Physics 45, Chemistry 45, Botany 45, Zoology 45), each carrying 4 marks, for a maximum of 720 marks. Offline OMR-based, single shift.

Master NCERT Biology line by line — a large share of NEET Biology questions map directly to NCERT statements.
Build Physics numerical speed with daily practice problems; accuracy under time pressure decides your rank.
Revise Inorganic Chemistry with periodic-trend charts and repeated short revision cycles.
Solve at least 10 years of NEET previous year papers and analyse every mistake in an error log.
Take one full-length OMR mock every week from six months out, at the exact exam time slot (2 PM–5 PM).
Follow a fixed weekly revision loop so no chapter goes untouched for more than 21 days.
