What is NEET?
NEET-UG (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test – Undergraduate) is India's single national entrance examination for undergraduate medical and allied courses. It is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) and is the only accepted entrance test for MBBS and BDS admissions in India, along with AYUSH (BAMS, BHMS, BUMS), veterinary (B.V.Sc & A.H.) and several nursing programmes.
What is the NEET exam pattern and syllabus?
NEET is a pen-and-paper (OMR) test of 180 multiple-choice questions for 720 marks, attempted in 180 minutes. The paper covers Physics (45 questions), Chemistry (45 questions) and Biology — Botany and Zoology together (90 questions). Marking is +4 for a correct answer and −1 for a wrong answer. The syllabus is the NCERT Class 11 and Class 12 Physics, Chemistry and Biology syllabus notified by NTA/NMC each year.
Who is eligible to appear for NEET?
You need to have passed (or be appearing in) Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English, and be at least 17 years old as on 31 December of the admission year. Indian nationals, NRIs, OCI, PIO and foreign nationals can all apply. Always confirm the exact eligibility and qualifying marks in the official NTA information bulletin for your exam year.
Which NEET batch should I join for 2027 and 2028?
Students appearing in NEET 2027 (currently in Class 12 or repeating) should join the 1 Year program or the 90-day Crash Course. Students appearing in NEET 2028 (entering Class 11) should join the 2 Year integrated program. DLP and the test series are available for both the 2027 and 2028 exam years.
When do the NEET 2027 and 2028 batches start?
Prepkunj runs rolling admissions with a new live NEET batch every month, so 2027 and 2028 aspirants can start without waiting for a session date. The NEET 2027 crash batch begins in January 2027. Every live batch is capped at 20 students.
What is the total NEET course fee at Prepkunj?
The 2 Year NEET course is ₹1,20,000 (₹1,03,000 tutoring + ₹14,000 hard-copy books + ₹3,000 test series) with a ₹21,000 discount — ₹99,000 + applicable GST. The 1 Year NEET course is ₹75,000 (₹58,000 tutoring + ₹14,000 books + ₹3,000 test series) with a ₹15,000 discount — ₹60,000 + applicable GST. GST is calculated on the discounted fee minus the books amount (₹99,000 − ₹14,000 = ₹85,000 for the 2 Year course); hard-copy books are GST-exempt. NEET DLP is ₹18,000 and the standalone NEET Test Series is ₹3,000.
Do I get printed study material?
Yes. All Prepkunj NEET batches include printed concept books, workbooks, DPPs and PYQ compilations delivered to your home. DLP students receive the same package by courier (extra shipping applies for orders outside India).
