Overview
BITSAT is a computer-based online test for admission to the integrated first-degree programmes of BITS Pilani across its Pilani, Goa and Hyderabad campuses. It is conducted in two sessions and is unique in including Logical Reasoning and English Proficiency sections plus optional bonus questions.

Eligibility Criteria
Exam Pattern
130 questions across four parts — Physics (30), Chemistry (30), English Proficiency (10) + Logical Reasoning (20), and Mathematics/Biology (40). If all 130 are answered with time remaining, 12 bonus questions (4 each in Physics, Chemistry, Maths/Biology) are offered.

+3 marks for each correct answer. Bonus questions carry the same marking.

Preparation Tips
Target a very high attempt count — BITSAT rewards speed far more than JEE does; aim for under 80 seconds per question.
Do not neglect English Proficiency and Logical Reasoning: 30 questions worth 90 marks are the easiest scoring block.
Practise on-screen computer-based mocks so navigation and the bonus-question decision feel automatic.
Prepare NCERT thoroughly — BITSAT questions stay closer to NCERT than JEE Advanced does.
Plan the bonus-question strategy in advance; attempt it only when confident about earlier answers.
Revise formulae daily; most BITSAT questions are single-concept and formula-driven.
