A 12-Week BITSAT Study Plan
BITSAT is a speed exam: 130 questions in 180 minutes across Physics, Chemistry, Maths, English and Logical Reasoning, with +3 for a correct answer and −1 for a wrong one. This plan builds concepts first, then trains the speed the real paper demands — using our free mock test and question bank. No sign-in needed.
The 12-week loop with mock tests and the question bank
Finish the loop with the free full-length 390-mark BITSAT mock test (130 questions, 5 sections, 180 minutes) every fourth Saturday and in the final two weeks. Between mocks, drill weak chapters in the searchable BITSAT question bank.
Weeks 1–4 · Foundation
Finish Class 11 Physics and Chemistry chapters you know best; add daily English vocabulary and one reasoning set a week. Test each chapter as you complete it.
Weeks 5–8 · Balance + speed
Start Maths and your weaker science subject from NCERT basics. Begin timed 30-question sets — BITSAT gives you barely 80 seconds per question, so practise with a clock from now on.
Weeks 9–11 · Class 12 + mixed
Cover Class 12 chapters and switch to cross-subject mixed practice. Take the full mock each Saturday and review every wrong and slow question the next day.
Week 12 · Review
Retake your lowest-scoring chapters in the question bank, re-attempt only the questions you got wrong, and keep English and reasoning warm with short daily sets.
A weekly timetable that works with school
Aim for roughly 12–15 focused hours a week alongside school. Rotate Physics, Chemistry and Maths so none is skipped for more than two days, and give English and Logical Reasoning short daily slots — together they are 45 of the 130 questions, and they are the fastest marks on the paper.
| Day | Focus block (1–1.5 h) | Second block (45–60 min) |
|---|---|---|
| Monday | Physics — read the chapter notes, note formulas | English — vocabulary and grammar rules |
| Tuesday | Chemistry — notes plus reaction or concept drilling | Logical Reasoning — one timed puzzle set |
| Wednesday | Maths — problem sets on the week's chapter | Physics — numericals with a timer |
| Thursday | Maths — continued, plus formula revision | English — reading comprehension practice |
| Friday | Weakest subject — extra hour from your own gap list | Flash-card revision of the week's formulas and words |
| Saturday | Timed chapter tests or a full mock, then a complete answer review — this is your fixed weekly test slot | |
| Sunday | Rest or light revision only; retake one low-scoring chapter and update next week's plan | |
Adjust the blocks to your school timetable — the fixed points are daily contact with English or reasoning, rotation across the three sciences, and one timed, fully reviewed test session a week.
