Preparing for competitive exams from Kolhapur

Kolhapur students have historically travelled to Pune or Sangli for serious entrance coaching, which usually means a hostel year at Class 11 — the same year the school syllabus gets hardest. Keeping the student at home and bringing the faculty online avoids that disruption at precisely the wrong moment.

The district has strong medical aspiration in particular, with a steady flow towards the Government Medical College in Kolhapur and Miraj. That makes NEET the dominant target, and it makes Biology-plus-Physics balance the recurring problem, since local teaching tends to be strongest in Biology.
