The competitive-exam picture in Bihar
Bihar produces an enormous number of serious NEET and JEE aspirants relative to the teaching capacity available inside the state, which is why so many families historically sent children to Kota, Delhi or Hyderabad at Class 11. That migration is expensive, and for many students it is the wrong trade — the teaching improves, but the support structure disappears.
The state's academic starting problem is concrete rather than cultural: BSEB coverage in Physics and Chemistry sits at lower depth than NCERT in several chapters, and the Class 11 foundation is often thinner than the entrance syllabus assumes. A plan that starts with a diagnostic and an alignment module works; a plan that assumes coverage does not.
Bihar students are, in our experience, among the most disciplined we teach once a clear weekly structure exists. What they usually lack is access to faculty who have taught to the national benchmark, and reliable national-level test data to judge where they actually stand — both of which travel well over a live online batch.
Boards and school system
BSEB carries the largest share of Science students, with CBSE strong in Patna and in the district towns' newer schools.

Bihar — frequently asked questions
- Is online coaching a real alternative to sending a student to Kota from Bihar?
- For many families, yes. The syllabus depth, daily class rhythm, weekly testing and revision cycles are the same; what changes is the cost, the batch size, and the student staying at home with family support.
- Do BSEB students need extra preparation for NEET or JEE?
- Usually a short bridge. We run a diagnostic first, then an NCERT alignment module for the chapters where board depth falls short, before starting the main sequence.
- What internet quality is needed for live classes?
- A basic broadband or 4G connection is enough. Classes are designed to run at low bandwidth, and every session is recorded, so a student who loses connection can complete the session the same day.
